| DAY 1: ARRIVE KUALA LUMPUR
Welcome to Kuala Lumpur! You will be met and transferred by private
car to your hotel. Overnight: Kuala Lumpur, JW Marriott for 2 nights.
DAY
2: HALF DAY KUALA LUMPUR TOUR
Visit Chinatown, where busy street vendors sell an array of
merchandise. Continue to Sze Ya Temple, the oldest shrine in the city,
Sri Mahamariamman the oldest Indian temple and Masjid Jamek one of the
city’s oldest mosques. Visit the vibrant Central Market and some of the
colonial side of Kuala Lumpur before enjoying a Teh Tarik demonstration,
a traditional Malaysian way of making tea. (B)
DAY 3: KUALA LUMPUR – KUCHING
Transfer by private car to the airport for your flight to Kuching
(flight not included). On arrival in Kuching, transfer to your hotel.
Overnight: Kuching, Hilton Kuching for 1 night. (B)
DAY 4: KUCHING – BATANG AI
Journey through lush green countryside surrounded by rugged mountains
to visit the Serian farmer’s market, before enjoying lunch at a roadside
bazaar. Board a longboat and travel up the Lemanak River to Serubah
Longhouse. Here you will visit the entire village under one roof and
enjoy a demonstration of blowpipe shooting. Return to the river and
cross the Hydro Lake to arrive at your resort. This evening, enjoy
dinner and a cultural performance. Overnight: Batang Ai, Hilton

DAY
5: BANTANG AI – KUCHING
After breakfast, embark on a short nature walk with the resort’s
resident naturalist to explore the surrounding jungle and its abundant
wildlife. Depart for Kuching this afternoon and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight: Kuching, Hilton Kuching for 1 night. (B,L)
DAY 6: KUCHING – KOTA KINABALU
Today is at leisure until you transfer to the airport for your flight
to Kota Kinabalu (flight not included). On arrival, you will be
transferred by private car to your hotel. Overnight: Kota Kinabalu,
Hyatt Regency Kinabalu for 1 night. (B)
DAY 7: KOTA KINABALU – SANDAKAN
This morning, board a short flight to Sandakan. On arrival, journey
to the Gomantong Caves and see the largest bird’s nest caves in Sabah.
Travel along the Kinabatangan River and watch the Proboscis Monkeys
gather by the water. This evening, enjoy dinner and a slide show and if
weather permits, a walk to search for native wildlife. Overnight:
Sandakan, Sukau River Lodge for 1 night. (B,L,D)
DAY 8: SANDAKAN – KOTA KINABALU
After breakfast, travel to Sepilok Orangutan Center to see orphan
Orangutans, and the jungle trail through the rainforest with a vast
array of wildlife and tropical plants. Travel to Kota Kinabalu and on
arrival, transfer north to your resort. Overnight: Kota Kinabalu,
Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort for 2 nights. (B,L)
DAY 9: KOTA KINABALU AT LEISURE
Enjoy a day at leisure in this beautiful coastal resort, set on
spectacular Pantai Dalit beach surrounded by acres of lush tropical
vegetation and a nature reserve.
DAY 10: DEPART KOTA KINABALU
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight (flight not included).
