VIETNAM - Vietnam Visa Application (MS Word)
All persons arriving in Vietnam must have the correct and appropriate visa stamped into their passport prior to their arrival. The good news is that Vietnam no longer requires clients to have visa entry and exit points stamped into the passport as a Vietnam visa is now valid for entry & exit at all internationally recognized land and air crossings.
It is also no longer necessary for a client to have a “letter of visa approval” from Jetabout Asia Vacations in order to obtain a Vietnamese visa. The client can just fill out and hand in (or post) one application form with one passport photo and the visa fee direct with the Embassy or consulate in their country.
In extreme emergencies, it is possible for us to arrange a “visa on arrival” only if clients are arriving at Ho Chi Minh City, Danang or Hanoi International airports (not at land borders) but it is not a guaranteed service and it is expensive (the price is dependent on nationality and how much notice we are given). A visa approval is required beforehand and this will take at least 24 hours (not including weekends or public holidays) to arrange.
Please Note: All Vietnam visas are single entry - unless you have specifically requested multiple entry and this is stamped into the passport. Please ensure clients have a multiple entry visa if they are entering Vietnam twice. The status of a tourist visa cannot be changed from single entry to multiple entry once a client has arrived in Vietnam.

Vietnam Entry & Exit Points:
By Air:
If you're arriving or departing Vietnam by air, there are currently only 3
international airports you can fly into or out of. In Ho Chi Minh
City the airport is called “Tan Son Nhat” and in Hanoi the airport is called
“Noi Bai”. In Danang the airport is called the “Danang International
Airport”. These are the standard entry & exit points on all Vietnamese
visas. It doesn’t matter if you enter at one airport and exits at
another or enters and exits at the same airport.
By Land:
If you're arriving or departing Vietnam by land, there are currently
8 international land crossing points open for foreigners (2 with Cambodia, 3
with Laos & 3 with China). Our tours may use the following crossing:·Vinh Xuong: This is the name of the town on the Vietnamese side of the
Vietnam / Cambodia border.
As mentioned above, it is no longer necessary to have these entry points stamped into a client’s passport.
Additional Paperwork:
As is the usual procedure for many countries, on the airplane (or on arrival
at the border crossing) you will be given a form to fill in. This is
a combined “Arrival / Departure & Baggage Declaration Form”. This will need
to be completed and submitted to immigration & customs on arrival. You
will need to ensure that you do not lose the yellow copy of this
form, as it must also be submitted on departure. Hotels in Vietnam will also
require this yellow form for registration.

CAMBODIA - Cambodia Visa Application (PDF)
Getting your Cambodian visa is a simple and efficient process. Tourist visas for most nationalities can be obtained on arrival at Phnom Penh or Siem Reap airports for 20USD cash. A visa form will be issued to you on the airplane or on arrival. You will also need one passport photo to accompany your visa application. It is your responsibility to ensure all visa and entry requirements are met prior to arrival in Cambodia. Travelers on the ‘Mekong and Temples’ and ‘Inside Vietnam and Cambodia’ Small Group Journeys can get their Cambodian visa on arrival at the Kamsamna border post on the Mekong river on the day of the boat crossing from Chau Doc (Vietnam) to Phnom Penh. This is a straight forward process.
Please allow 25 USD per person for departure taxes.

CHINA - Chinese Visa Application (PDF)
All persons entering China require a visa. This visa must be obtained from a Chinese Embassy or Consulate abroad before arrival and is valid for all international points of entry into China.
A Chinese visa can be procured either in person or through Jetabout's visa agency. Speak to your Jetabout Asia reservations consultant at time of booking.
No prior “letter of visa approval” is necessary. Previously, it was helpful if you had a copy of an airline ticket or itinerary confirming that you are booked on an organized tour. This formality is changing as the country opens its doors to independent travelers.
Please Note: All Jetabout Asia Vacations’ China Small Group Journeys travel within the country only (do not cross borders with other countries). China tourist visas usually come in single and double entry only. Multiple entry visas are available, however a letter of explanation must accompany this application.
Please ensure you have a multiple entry visa if they are intending to enter China twice on other travel arrangements. It is difficult to change the status of a tourist visa from single entry to multiple entry once a client has arrived in China.
China tourist visa fees costs between $50-$100 stateside, depending upon length of validity and number of entries
